I expect to see increased efficiencys from the 5 men units and inhanced defensive and offensive plays as consequences..... the Carbonneau will not be missed.

Marcov
Beauchemin

Harmlik
Gorges

Schneider
O'Byrne

Dandeneault

I would like to see Weber starting in Hamilton and get all the PP first wave minutes he can while improving any other aspects of his game...... call-up man next season, permanency in two year.

Subban ready in two years same for Emelin and maybe McDonough..... Fisher in three years.

Signing Dandy one year will not interfere with our up-coming D prospects...... same for Schneider if he accept a one year contract while Hamrlik's own with two years left will not be in the way either.

In those respects Schneider should be a keeper since his presence will garantied us a top 4 PP status for the whole season next year which in my book is a must have if we want to make the playoffs next season or even more...... anyway his presence would also help O'Byrne while keeping up our transition game in the process.

Marcov and Beauchemin would be the foundation while all others could come and go depending on the evolving situations over the years.pierrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04722439953017469433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3435571560723564995.post-1059495545792868102009-05-01T04:41:00.000-11:002009-05-01T04:41:00.000-11:00I think it has been way too easy for other teams t...I think it has been way too easy for other teams to play against the Canadiens, the last few years. A change of "identity" should be in order. It's time for teams to stop enjoying a nice little game without too much risk of a little pain, when playing the Canadiens.

Bouillon is the only hitting defencemen so we have to keep hin. If Komisarek wants to earn more than Markov (apparently, that's what his agent said), the hell with him. Beauchemin is a very good idea. Let's try and sign him.

What we also need, is some mean SOB that can skate a little faster than a fire hydren. A Derian Hatcher who could skate. I haven't seen him mmuch but maybe a Shane O'Brien could be that guy ?

Hamrlik has lost a second or three so he's the king of the blue line give away as he like to go back and stand as near to the goaler as possible so no one can "SouraySpezzle" him. Maybe it's possible to trade him to some team who has not yet noticed ?

Maybe out of context but I'd also like to see a third line consisting of Lapierre, Latendresse and Chris Neil. With a healthy Laraque ( can I dream) on a fourth line, perhaps we would be in a position to contend with most Western Conference teams.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12560846020660844448noreply@blogger.com
